“Good sushi restaurant”
Located on the 8th floor of the Mylord building next to Shinjuku Station, Asahi Sushi serves up tasty sushi made with fresh ingredients. Sit at the counter and watch the skillful sushi chefs prepare your meal. Can get crowded so go early. English menu available on request.

“Excellent Sushi restaurant above Shinjuku station”
I had visited Asahizushi a few times when they were in the Sumitomo building (Level 50). I went in for dinner last night at their new location in the Shinjuku Mylord shopping building, on Level 8. Take the West Exit of Shinjuku Station, turn left and the entrance to Mylord is up the small laneway ca...lled Mozaic lane. They no longer have the amazing view that had in the Sumitomo building, actually they have no view at all, but I sat at the counter and had an amazing view watching the expert sushi chef prepare not just my meal but everyone elses. I had a Japanese friend with me who helped translate as the chef gave explanation of all the different types of fish he served me. The sushi is fresh, very tasty and not so expensive. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant. Easy to get to. Thanks Asahizushi! i'll be back again.

“Not worth to visit with such bad attitude”
The waitress was kindly looking for seat for us. When I told them that we have one baby with us and the cashier told us all full immediately and gave me that kind of face! When I tried to tell her that we do not mind to be sitted separately(there r many empty seats on the bar seats and one empty 4-s...eater table). The cashier just waving her hand and repeated all full and chased me out! Will never recommend no matter how good their food is! NO

“Decent sushi with an awesome view”
Located in the Shinjuku Shiamoto building, this is a nice place to have a quiet meal. It is located on the 50th floor along with a free observation deck. The views are nice of the Shinjuku area. The service is friendly. Since it is in an office building, unless you know it is there or pay attenti...on to the signs out front, you might not realize there are several restaurants and bars on the top 2 floors of the building. Located across the street from the Hilton, it is a nice alternative to the hotel restaurants. The food is decently good, you do not have to go far, and you get some nice views.

“Worth a visit”
The restaurant's main draw for me was being located on the 50th floor of an office tower across the street from the Hilton hotel. The food is decent - not great but not bad. Prices are very reaosnable, service was good and the view is really impressive so i definitely enjoyed the meal. Note that the... English menu is limited so ask to see the Japanese one (use the pictures to order).
