“Great Sumo Restaurant Experience”
I booked this restaurant for us to go to after we went to the sumo tournament that afternoon. When we went in, there was a small show starting which involved some of the diners and was very upbeat and fun. We ordered the traditional sumo hot pot which was very tasty and filling. At the end of the ni...ght, we were invited into the ring to have photos taken.

“A Unique Experience in Tokyo”
We had a great time here and it was a unique experience. The staff was very helpful and explained everything to us/how it works. We tried the Chankonabe, which is a traditional hot pot stew eaten by sumo wrestlers. It is usually served in a broth with a mixture of protein and vegetables. These pots ...are huge and can be shared among a group of people. I would recommend making a reservation.

“A great finish of a 'Sumo' day”
After attending the Sumo wrestling tournament, we went to Kappo Yoshiba, a few hundred meters down the road. Tucked away in a residential area this hide away represents a Sumo hall and serves the food eaten by the wrestlers. Try their hot pot, it is absolutely delicious, with every flavor hitting yo...ur palette. Beautiful seafood combined with chicken and pork, topped with a huge number of veggies all simmering in a sumptuous broth. Very reasonably priced, with excellent service and a cute little show makes for a perfect ending of our Sumo day.

“Very unique experience”
Kappo Yoshiba really feels like a local place; it is tucked away in a residential neighborhood away. The restaurant is an old sumo hall and the has instrument entertainment or songs sung in the ring during dinner service. Service was impeccable with the waitresses taking extra care to serve you. ...A Chanko Nabe for 3 people will easily feed 4. “Excellent”
We had a wonderful moment, very good dishes and waitress were so kind ! It was a rainy day but our meal were really warming and light up everything. A must go in Tokyo. We ll surely come back.
