My wife and I were looking forward to enjoying some sushi following the second night of Wrestle Kingdom at the Dome. Sadly on arrival the restaurant more closely resembled a school canteen than what I had perceived to be a relatively high end sushi restaurant & also had a rather odd smell in the air.... Having been to Japan a couple of times I understand that I cannot automatically accept English to either be spoken or available by menu, however I found it pretty astonishing that in such a main stream hotel that this was not available, and that the waiting staff seemed unwilling/incapable of assisting. We left without order and scoured the area for something better

Some of the best teppanyaki I have had. We shared the filet and lobster combination, with several kinds of cold sake to accompany the food. The chef was outstanding, and servers were extremely attentive but not intrusive. A bit pricey but worth it! A view to the front reveals activities at the T...okyo Dome amusement area.

The rice wine has gold flakes in it. And you are supposed to drink it. Sushi is served piece by piece and for the first time I am seeing fresh horse radish being made. Soup is an art.

It may have been the jet-lag, or perhaps my poor arithmetic, but my consideration of the menu prices in yen miscalculated the cost of the meal by a factor of ten ! It was worth it, though. We were treated to a culinary feast accompanied by fine wine in a stylish settting with superb service. One... of the best meals I have ever eaten.

I ate some fantastic food during my week in Japan....but this restaurant was definitely the winner. The service, presentation, quality and flavour of the dishes was just fantastic. Will definitely be back here again on my next visit to Japan!
