The owner of the establishment was very nice and caring. He works very hard to go out of his way to cater to the needs of guests. The food is on point, and the traditional design of the restaurant is fantastic, complete with Persian carpets, traditional items and tapestries. Beautiful looking restau...rant with great food! Highly recommend!

I was so surprised to find a Persian place in japan. This place is the real deal with an amazing owner. All around you will find Persian rugs, a sign of prosperity in Iran. The food is extremely authentic and great tasting.

I had the koobideh Kabab here with delicious saffron rice. The space is set up like a traditional Persian eatery. So excited to find a Persian gem in Tokyo!

“About as authentic as it gets”
While traveling to Tokyo for work, I saw that there was a Persian restaurant in Koenji. Being Iranian myself, I thought taking my Japanese friends there would be a nice role reversal -- I could help them pick what to eat for once, and chat with the owners. From the moment you walk in, you're treat...ed to a cozy restaurant covered with rugs, Iranian paintings and assorted memorabilia -- as well as the live singing of birds. We put in our order for the Koobideh and Chicken kabobs, as well as two stews (ghormeh sabzi and qheymeh) and watched as the owner, Hossein, quietly and patiently stirred and grilled. 20 minutes later came one of the most satisfying Persian meals I've had at a restaurant. It tasted like a true home cooked meal. Just when we were about to leave, we were treated to some home made ice cream, comprised of pistachio shavings, rose water and saffron. Needless to say, my friends and I will be making an effort to come back every time I'm back in town, and I'm sure they'll go lots in between then.
