“First time and loving it”
This is my first trip to Japan and my first time trying Izakaya. Food served are fresh and varieties offer are good. Prices are reasonable. Down side is the spacing is kind of small and ventilation is not very good. But overall a good and happy experience. We dine in as 20 people capacity and the en...vironment is very warm as we can chat along and joke

“First izakaya experience!”
We were tired and looking for a simple pub. But we wanted a Japanese experience. So we decided on Doma-doma. It is on the fifth floor and I was expecting no one to be there but it was packed. It has an old tavern look but the tables/booths are comfortable. The menu had a very good selection of e...verything. We had steak with avocado, eel and the sample skewers. These are all small plates and moderate portions but really tasty. Of course we ordered beer brewed in Japan and cold sake. The prices are right! It's very close to the Asakusa metro stop.

“what a welcome home”
I returned to Japan after 26 years. My Japanese sister organized a dinner for us all here. I had my husband and 2 daughters with me. The food and service was amazing! We tried so many delicious things all washed down with a nice cold asahi beer The most amazing touch was the dessert with sparklers... and a welcome home message written on it in chocolate We were thoroughly spoiled and loved the Doma Doma experience. Hope to be back Kampai!
