Nobori

Tucked away in side street Saganobori is in the upper scale for a Chanko Nabe restaurant. Reservation is a must. You can select a course from about $60~$100 per head. Drinks are not included in this amount. We went with shoyu based broth for the base. We've selected eight course meal and true to it...s sumo form it was a mountain of food we just couldn't finish it all. All of the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. Main chanko (hot pot) was good but in all honesty I've had better in Ryogoku (where sumo stadium is located) at a much less price point. All in all it was a fun occasion for all six of us.
