“Carnivore's heaven ....”

We dined at this iconic Kobe beef teppanyaki restaurant. Over 2 hours we were immersed in the craft of grilling on a heavy steel plate & showcasing the unique speciality of Tajima beef. We chose the Tajima female beef degustation 6 course menu @ Y21,000 (USD210) person which involved: an Amuse on se...ating, then an assortment of Tajima beef cuts, then a potage, then the special course of the particular cow we had chosen, then some grilled vegetable & then a refreshing fruit platter to conclude. Our chef had good English & so we learned a lot about the business of Kobe beef & the showcasing of specific award winning cows. A good bottle of Barolo matched well the rich beef dishes. Strongly recommended for those who appreciate the finest in beef. Whilst expensive it is very good value considering the amazing quality of the fare & having our own chef for 2 hours.

Had an excellent steak dinner here we would say it's the best steak we have had in a long time service was good and so was the beer and wine please give it a go if you can we dont think you'll be disappointed

“Extreme delicious Kobe beef”

As we were four people we had a separate room where we could enjoy our Kobebeef. The staff was extremely friendly and I enjoyed brushing up my Japanese with them. The Kobe beef was excellent! it's a must -do!

“Amazing beef but rich to the palette”

Great food.. Would recommend a smaller portion as the beef can be rich to the palette and after a few bites it can feel heavy. Had the chateau lagrange which was smooth.. But rushed but they were nice to serve me 30 minutes before closing.. The soup was a bit bland though.

“A Great Lesson on Japanese Beef”

We dined here for lunch and while the meal was expensive, it was very good. Our chef spent several years time working in the U.S. and thus was conversant in English. While cooking for us he gave us a history lesson on Tajima cattle, Kobe beef and the whole farm to table process in Japan for ensur...ing that the beef we were eating was authentic and of the highest quality. Our meal was simple. Basic lettuce salad, soup and then succulent beef with some slices of onions and zucchini. The salad, soup and vegetables were simply prepared and frankly nothing special. The beef, on the other hand, was tender and juicy. Lots of marbling and fat in every bite. Cooked perfectly in front of you. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. I look forward to dining here again in the future.
