“Better than last visit!”
This year, we came back with more family members to enjoy such lovely grill. 5 adults and 1 child; we ordered a set for 4 plus a mixed veg, a plate of premium beef (only 4 slices) and an additonal order of beef sushi. The set for 4 is great value!! It consists of a steak, ox tongue, a few differe...nt cuts of beef, pork, chicken, prawns, salad, rice, and soup. The venue is nice and spacious with friendly and helpful staff! With a table full of food (mostly meat), our bill was only 30,000 yen!

“Tasting Ishigaki beef”
In a large traditional room, Ishigakiya allows you to taste the special beef from the Yaeyama islands, grilled through your personal « BBQ » in the center of the table, with hot coal.

“Expensive but disappointed thin beef”
This restaurant with spacious room and adequate parking space provides hibachi style charcoal cooking . Small pieces of thin beef was ok, but you have to grill by yourself using "amiyaki" style, which may be over cooked easily and become messy, and beef may be sticked to heated wiremesh.

We went as a family of 4, 3 adults, 1 child, my mom isn't a huge fan of meat based meals so we didn't go crazy. We ordered the most expensive "one person" set which included all cuts of beef, some starters, rice, and dessert (mango ice cream)! The set was over 16,000yen but worth every penny. On ...top of that, we ordered 4 pieces of ishigaki beef sushi, oxtail, and another plate of beef (can't rmb the exact part) Everything was great, highly recommend this place! The bill was a total of approximately 27,000yen.

“go for the Ishigaki beef”
You have to book this restaurant in advance as it is almost always full , esp. for dinner. The Ishigaki beef combinations are not cheap - the best combination comes at around 16,500 Yen, but the quality of the beef is top. You can try several other beef platters and combinations, and these are very ...good too. If you choose sake, beware of the most expensive one (forgot the name, around 5100 0Yen) which comes in at 40° alc and is almost twice as strong as "normal" sake....
