“Great choices and good prices”
Stayed at Tokyu Rei Hotel next door, and were surprised to find this yatai area with many interesting stalls. Had lunch at "Kokoro/ こころ" and they had nice kaisendon sets, ranging from ¥650, ¥900 and ¥950. Had an English/Korean/Chinese menu and the owner spoke a little English. Was a nice lunch.

“The best supper experience!!”
This place is filled with locals! That's the first hint that we hit jackpot on our perfect supper place in Kagoshima! The place was bustling with Japanese chilling over beer and all kinds of bar food in the local scene! You would find all sorts of food from a stick of chicken gizzard to a plate of f...resh sashimi! My favorite was the plate of golden kibinago!! Don't miss it at store 6!! Love this place it was such a hidden gem (from the minds of tourist but it was actually easy to find!)

“Interesting yatai experience”
Interesting and enjoyable place for drinks and light food. As each stall is rather small, be early to grab a seat before your desired place is full. Do note payment by cash only.

“Nice pub street near Kagoshima Chuo Station”
This is a Japanese style pub street about 5 min walk away from Kagoshima Chuo Station. Along the short alley, there are 10~20 places to enter. The passage is narrow and there are employees to tout. It's a bit hard to pass ignoring them. Inside the tavern, they sell foods and drinks. Mostly made of K...agoshima's products. Japanese people work and visit here normally don't speak English. But, there's still chance to get along. At the entrance, there are free booklets in multi-languages. It was helpful. It'll be fine to spend 1500~3000 yen to have fun in one place.
