“Lovely healthy lunch”
We came to Hakataku by Shinkansen for a couple of nights to visit a friend and as soon as we got off the train she took us here for lunch, it is part of the station complex and is very well set up. Staff were very friendly and explained the food . It is all lovely and fresh and sourced locally. You ...basically pick from three different types of salad and which dressing you want on it, plenty of dressings to pick from. That comes in a big bowl , you then can go to the food counter and get as much bread as you like, once again quite a few variety’s, there is also a lovely vegetable soup which you help yourself to, you can have as much as you like of that also. Plenty of nice water that has been flavoured by different fruits or veggies. As you sit eating the back windows look out onto the station platform so you can see the trains coming and going, a nice feature. Loved this place, and very healthy food , give it a try

“I will have a gin & tonic with my kale salmon salad, please”
We had lunch at Veg Bal Kyushu, a nice salad joint on Level 2 at Hakata Station. Good choice of dressings and toppings. The salads tend to be small, but there is s buffet of soup and bread. The only less healthy part is they also sell all kinds of alcohol (beer, wine, whisky, gin, etc).

“Awesome vege diner !”
In vacation with my girlfriend, we ate a very delicious menu in Vege Style Dining. Pumpkin fondue, and a vegetables rice egg dish and meat dish which were amazing! Recomand to vacation at Hakata. Five minutes walking from train station. ( west exit i think) you MUST go eat there !
