“Japanese Cuisine and Teppanyaki”
I don’t know how the prices are for teppanyaki outside the hotel. But we tried both the highest grade beef package and the package which is 1 grade below. The course is mostly the same except you get a piece of abalone with the high package. In my opinion. The special selected Kobe beef (highes...t graded) one is worth the dollar amount spent (20k yen). The one below (15k yen) is only so so. If you are planning to come here and eat then get the most expensive course.

“Fancy Yakiniku dinner.”
Dined at Horikawa my last night in Tokyo with a local friend who enjoys this restaurant. My first time at a yakiniku restaurant where the chef is preparing everything in front of you. I ordered the days "recommended choice" which included a 60G and 100G sirloin cuts, there were many, many courses se...rved all were very very good, service was professional. I'm a casual type guy so this was a big splurge in both quality of dining and price but for a one time experience in a special city with a special friend well worth it. 300.00USD for two people.

We went to this restaurant with high hopes after reading positive reviews on various review sites. After being seated, we waited...and waited...and waited. Eventually, a server attended our table and, scared that we might never see him again, we immediately ordered both drinks and our food choices.... While waiting for our drinks and appetizers, we noticed that other tables (which ordered after us) were receiving their drink and appetizers before us. The food was nothing to write home about. We've had much better sushi and tempura elsewhere (both in Japan and North America and Europe). No one approached our table after our food was delivered; other tables were offered refills for their drinks and tea and water. We were only able to get the server's attention when is was time to ask for our bill. That came quick enough. Overall, not a great experience - marginal food and terrible service.

“Traditional Japanese Food”
Located at the 19th floor of Hotel Century Southern Tower, the place offers a nice evening view of Takashimaya Times Square. The receptionist was super friendly and while the waitress' spoken English was limited, we managed to place our orders by pointing to the pictures in the menu. Since we refr...ained from eating raw foods like sushi or sashimi, we opted for shrimp tempura, grilled fish and udon plus green tea. To me, the reasonably priced foods were simply oishii (delicious in Japanese).
