“On top of Akafudado”
When it's crowded in Monzennakatcho and you want somewhere quiet with good service this is the place. Access to the top floor restaurant is via the Supermarket lift. There's a relaxed atmosphere and the staff cope well with small children (though there's nothing particularly aimed at children on the... menus). Food here is more expertly cooked and seasoned than many of the Chinese restaurants in Tokyo and the prices reflect this. For the same reason, don't expect to fill up. During weekdays, the zubuta, ebi chili and mabo-tofu set lunches are good value, but they also have a group of noodle dishes in delicate stocks that are always tempting.
