KINGYO

Went to the show at Roppongi Kingyo while visiting Tokyo with family friends. The show was a lot of fun, the costumes were fabulous, and the food was decent. Even the prices were not bad considering that we were paying for both dinner and a show. We middle aged Americans knew just about every song i...n the show. We were welcomed warmly. We had preteens and teens in our group, and there was nothing about the show itself that I found inappropriate for them; however I did find it slightly odd that several performers passed out their business cards before the show, including to the kids. This place has great energy and I would recommend it as something different to do in Tokyo. I think they may be a little unclear who is their target audience. The majority on the night we went were Japanese ladies “of a certain age.”
