“Here for the view, not for the food”
The view is superb, ask for a table that faces the cityscape. However there is minimal service. You order on an ipad device, press a button and the food comes all at once. Literally like feeding geese. Any warm food (tempura, chicken skewers) get cold fast. So as a tip: order each dish one at a time.... Real food in Hokkaido? - visit Hokkaido.

The Hokkiado is located on the upper lever of the Island Tower occupying the entire floor. The night view of the Shinjuku is impressive. The many seafood items are excellent, the crab tempura is worthy of special note. Sake goes well with the shells and crab. Have visited several times and always en...joy. Well worth a visit

“Good seafood but not great seafood”
We sampled the crab, salmon, Japanese fried chicken, asparagus tempura. All good. The edamame was a bit frozen which may have masked its taste. Had excellent sake. Staff was generally attentive but did have to go in search of them a few times. Seems to be a popular place with the tour crowd. N...ice view of the city. Private rooms.

“A truly great place for seafood lovers”
We went there by walking from our hotel Hyatt Regency Tokyo. It was such a nice walk. The restaurant is located in the top lever of a high rise building--island Tower. Amazingly, this Izakaya occupies the whole floor. The view of the night city skyline is expansive and very grande. We started out wi...th some appetizers, and ordered two kinds of Sake wines and a draft beer. The marriage of the seafood with the beverage was 10 out of 10. The next few dishes did not stop amaze us. Needless to say, this meal was one of the best for our twelve day tour in Japan. The customers in this izakaya are mostly locals, and by the time we were halfway through out delicious meal, the restaurant became fully occupied already. I strongly recommend this eatery! You won't regret it!
