Coffee had no taste. For a company that apparently specialises in coffee, this place probably makes the worst coffee in Japan. Of the chain stores, Tully’s is by far the best, their baristas, if you can call them that, actually know how to add extra coffee to the drink. My Doutor coffee pretty much ...tastes like milk and water.

“Quick, friendly and Delish!”
The Doutor coffee bars in the train stations on the Japan Rail system are superb. Even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can order a great cuppa coffee and a snack. They have Eigo (English) menus to see size of cup and what type of coffee, which is of excellent quality in Japan. The stand up/...no seating areas are fine. You can tuck your suitcase under the counter that you are leaning on. Many of the wee snack vendors also can be paid with the Suica transit card.

“Warm comfort food”
A cold Tokyo winter's day and a warm cafe with Mocha Latte and some special pancakes with little prawns, mussels and a bisque sauce - so good.

“Great place for quick morning food”
The sandwiches were tasty and reasonably priced. It’s a good place to pick up food on the go before a tour or run to the train station. They don’t have a large selection, but fast and simple
