Away from the hustle and bustle of Ikebukuro lies Matsunoya, a small restaurant close to Higashi Ikebukuro exit. Now the reason for my frequent visits to this place lies in the perfectly executed katsudon and karaage. It's very afforable and open till early morning which makes it the perfect place ...to grab a meal after 遊び in Tokyo

“Good value tonkatsu”
The meat are chrispy and not hard to bite. 1 set of tonkatsu c/w soup n vege is only 500yen. The side dish compliment the white rice. So delicious. Eat the grated white raddish after you eat the tonkatsu. Fantastic.
