“Nothing special”
Our expectations were not met. This restaurant was introduced to us as worthwhile to try, but in the end the menu was nothing special; the salad plate as appetizer was divided for two, although it was a one man portion. Also the taste of the fish dish was nothing to remember. Only positive thing wa...s the friendly service. Price/quality was good.

“La Bonne Table will Tantalise”
Set menu that will tantalise and please. La Bonne Table smashes all expectations. The set menu range is a wonderful experience from paddock to plate creativity and deliciousness. Starting with champagne, then white and red, steers your pallet through shiitake mushrooms, yellow tail tonburi, riso...tto of ginkgo, iburi-Gakko, venison and finally pear and banana bergamot. All is wonderful. Go the set menus.

“Stunning, exciting fusion food with exceptional attention to detail”
Really beautiful dishes, exceptionally well-paired with interesting wines from around the world. The umami mushroom dish really stood out, and the zing of the lemon with the buttery fig for dessert. An utterly memorable food experience at a restaurant which will undoubtedly have a Michelin star soon...!

“French bistro as impressive as its more upscale sister restaurant”
Just a block away from Mitsukoshimae station, this understated French bistro made a dent first with its wine list. Very impressed with their collection of amber wine selection at this causal eatery, out Italian amber wine went perfect with the freshly smoked potatoes wedges which arrived at our tab...le like a commercial bag of potato chips, but smoke fuming out as we unwrapped it. The garden vegetables brought back the fond memory of the 50 shades of green at L’Effervercence. Mushroom topped with melted cheese was dintily presented, and so did the fennel octopus salad with Japanese grapefruit vinegar. The real surprise came from the risotto - an unassuming scoop of rice surrounded with such an intensive fish broth. Duo mains of asparagus with fish and roasted pork followed by duo dessert brought a perfect ending to the evening.

“Fabulous lunch, farm to table”
The setting is modern farm table, with a twist of upscale contemporary artsy feeling. Food was farm to table concept with well executed modern french style. Fresh refreshing salad and the fish and duck was very good. Service was attentive. A bit too formal for a Bistro, but it is located in financia...l district , maybe that's why. Excellent dessert too. Natural wine selection was good. We tried a Japanese sparkling wine which is very good drinking.
