“Refined Kaiseke-style dinner”
The welcome was warm but restrained, the atmosphere refined but friendly. We had communicated our choice of menu when we booked, so after a welcoming sake, our food began to arrive. The flavours were subtle. Underneath that lay a complexity that seemed to work perfectly. Fatty tuna on egg plant, st...onefish in broth, prawn and corn fritter - all were wonderful. The service was friendly and the chefs engaged us as we sat at the counter offer the course of a few hours. This is a great place for a date or special occasion, or just to celebrate really great Japanese food.

Very cozy! It's one dish after the other which is great unlike other Japanese restaurants that take forever love the idea that the food is being prepared right in front of you the down side is that they do not use gloves which is disgusting but that is the only bad thing about it.
