“Best katsu in Tokyo”
I've eaten here a few times and it's always amazing. It's an unassuming little place, but that belies the quality of the food - melt-in-the-mouth meat. There can be queues but it's worth it.

“Top Quality Tonkatsu”
We had a delicious meal at Imakatsu. Our family of four sampled the pork, chicken and prawn "tonkatsu". The pork and chicken were beautifully cooked - crunchy outer and tender in the middle. The surprise was the shredded cabbage with sesame dressing. A big hit with all of us - we asked for a second... helping. I never thought cabbage could be so tasty!

This place is small but we had a short wait in the evening (4 people). The katsu dishes are quite big. The chicken is enough for two. The pork is a bit smaller. The sake was quite nice, small selection. Service was excellent. Highly recommended if you want good katsu.

“Melts in your mouth!”
Wanted to have tonkatsu while in Tokyo and heard about this restaurant. I was not disappointed. Get there early, as there can be a wait. The pork just melts in your mouth. Refills of shredded cabbage and rice available.

“2 years and 3 meals later, it's still good”
I only have a limited # of meals I can have in Japan, but this is one of the restaurant made it to the must visit every time. It's so good ..light and crispy outside, moist and juicy inside - pork or chicken, both are good - get both :)
