There were long queues for this cafe when we went (about 30 mins wait) but we thought it was probably a good sign so we persisted. There was a variety of western and Japanese style desserts, but I can vouch for the matcha tiramisu which was excellent - probably the best Japanese dessert I think I’ve... ever had. The Japanese sundae with matcha ice cream, red bean paste, waffles, soya, rice cake, and strawberry was also very good. Well worth the wait.

“nice place for a cuppa”
The café is a joint venture between Tully's and Ito-En. They have been successful in amalgamating Western & Japanese styles. It is located in the corner on the first / ground floor of 'Kitte' ~ Japan Post's building adjacent to Tokyo station. The café stands out from the others for offering service... at the table. Apart from an array of tea and coffee they offer some nice desserts too. If you can, avoid going on weekends since there is always a long line waiting to be seated.
