“Most underrated top tier french restaurant in japan/tokyo”
OMG- I will start out by saying, "Wow", and "why did it take me so long to find this place" (but candidly, this is new in June, whew)... but so so glad I tried it tonight (thank you to my wife for opentable reservation). I will say several basics, this deserves a michelin star or two. It's by far t...otally underrated. Understated in a nice Japanese way. and it exceeded my expectations in so many ways. It is not cheap, but represents one of the best French Restaurant values I've experienced in the 2.75 years I've lived in tokyo and traveled throughout japan. It's very small like so many other establishments. The first thing that blew me out of the water is the wine list- it's like a who's-who of French wines--very well done on the choices sommelier... maybe 15-16 seats in the whole place and I'm sorry for the establishment, great for my wife and I, but it was a very quiet night with only 1 table besides ours, and a small family at the long bar. the menu consists of maybe 3 or 4 price fix set-o's. Great job. we went for the top one, which at 8500 JPY is by far the least costly french I've ever seen. Add in bottle evian and wines and we were out for 30k for 2 people, so this is a true value in tokyo, i have to say. food presented course after course was absolutely works of art, stunning and the taste was subarashi-desu--amazing! Server, a young guy cared/attentive without being in your way, helped us with english all along the way (thank you!). Owner was behind the scenes with the amazing 1-2 chef/assistant in the small kitchen in back. I cannot say enough good things about this place and we will be back many times before we depart for america.

“Wine bar/bistro with Burgundy focus”
Excellent food and great wine selection. It is located away from big streets and rather hard to find. You need Google Map or Bing to get there. Service is excellent. RNSQ is, perhaps, too good to be a "bistro"
