“Generous portions of unagi”
Get the unagi bowl if it’s in season. The portions are huge and if you order the double it is less than SGD $20. You get four slabs of the fish with rice. You should top up the rice too since it will only set you back by another fifty cents.

“cheap lunch with japan style roundtable”
yoshinoya is my favorite place to eat in japan because it is cheap. this yoshinoya dont have english text in their front so only people familiar with this restaurant can find it. their service is great. not all staff can understand english but luckily from my experience there always 1 staff that can... understand in every yoshinoya restaurant. their table is not to convenient for group or family probably because their biggest customer are local workers that just need grab some lunch and go.
