Focusing on cheap but very delicious lunch, one of them is the French restaurant Concombre, offering both classic a la carte dishes as well as a daily changing lunch menu, prepared by a chef who studied the art of cooking in France. Another one is Jiryuya, a restaurant that is all about seafood. Whether grilled fish or sashimi, you can enjoy an amazing lunch, including side dishes, for less than 1,000 yen here. Three minutes away from the Shinsen Station on the Keio Inokashira Line lies Kininaruki, a newcomer pub famous for its insanely cheap all-you-can-drink offers and its “leave it to the chef” courses. This is the perfect place to go when your main interest is to drink while snacking on one or the other delicacy. Savory tuna, juicy beef dishes, sea urchin bowl – the selection of amazing dishes that fit all kinds of drinks just right is astonishing. We especially recommend the raw tuna slices, which seems to be Kininaruki’s signature dish. It isn’t just incredibly delicious but also very pleasing to the eyes.
