YAKINIKU ICHO Nambaten

Very good value for money. The location is a japanese traditional place, with private dining rooms. You have a grill in the table, where you can prepare your own teppanyaki. We had a set with a variety of meats and liver and all kinds of side dishes. Better choice would be just to take a variety ...of meat choices without taking the set ( we discovered the back side of the menu after giving the order). The meat was absolutely great (especially when you consider the price). The side dishes/starters were ok that's why it is going to be **** and not ***** rating. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

The range of meat is fine. It tells you clearly which one is of better quality. Of course the better ones are more expensive but you do get good meat if you order those better ones.

My husband and I went to this restaurant couple times a year when we traveled to Osaka. We visited again this time because of our awesome experiences that we had before. BUT after this time, NEVER AGAIN!!! When we first stepped in the restaurant, the lady with a face mask(Miss田村) “welcoming” us, th...en after realising we don’t speak japanese her attitude was completely changed! While we were at the door she was telling me to take off my shoes really rudely “SHOES!- OFF!” Then kept looking me up & down and made me feel so uncomfortable. Then she was talking to her colleague then they both look at us and laughed. We have ordered a set (3909Yen), A beef tongue(1533Yen). After 5 minutes the food has arrived, the waiter just dropped the food off and left. NO ONE EXPLAINED TO US WHAT PART THEY WERE !!! We pressed the help button and asked if we could have some tap water, the waiter said yes. Straight after the waiter talked to the other staffs and laughed so loud. It made me feel so uncomfortable and unprofessional. Even though we were still hungry but we didn’t want to stay there any longer. We went to pay for the bill, Miss 田村and the waiter who served us kept glaring at us at the cashier kept laughing and talking I wondered why because OUR TAP WATER had been charged!!! I have never been mistreated and felt so angry. I have told my family and friends DON’T BOTHER to visit this restaurant because it was full of RACIST and RUDEST STAFFS I have even seen. I wasn’t come for free food I PAID 6000YEN and NO ONE DESERVES A SERVICE LIKE THIS!!!! TERRIBLE and DISGUSTING!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT. If you can afford a fine dining Go somewhere else with professional service. It doesn’t even worth a star. 👎🏻

The place was nice and cozy. The food was great. The service was nice. They even have a person who talks English very well (He being called Justin Bieber :D) Even though I dont like the person in front of door. Not too friendly. But overall, I would go back to eat there if I come to Osaka. The poin...t given should be in 5 stars but I deducted one star due to the front man person, and also the stove. They need to figure out to adjust the fire.

You cannot go wrong with most yakiniku places in Japan. Other than the excellent cuts of beef being available, we loved that you can also order the innards which is not available at some of the yakiniku places. What goes best with yakiniku?? An ice cold beer! Here, it's served in a large metal bee...r mug so it's extra extra cold when served and continue to be nice and cold. Best thing here is that prices is pocket-friendly too!
