Bora bora Rakobesannomiyaten

So let`s start from the beginning. I went in with my Japanese girlfriend, spoke to the staff in Japanese (I`ve been here fifteen years so it`s not like I can`t ask if they`ve got a table free), the staff then proceeded to ignore me and just talk to my girlfriend as if I wasn`t there! We were then ...told that the only seats were outside on the veranda (it was about 32 degrees outside), so we said we`d wait. After this, the staff member seemed as though she just didn`t care and spoke in a way which really wound up my girlfriend. Anyway, we sat down after about ten minutes as this place had been recommended on a site with the promise of `lots of vegetables!` which is a plus for a vegetable fan like me. We went to the salad bar which was basically some lettuce leaves, broccoli, tomatoes, onions, and... tinned corn, lovely! (see picture), the soup had a definite smell of having come out of a packet, and there were... paper cups to put it in. Anyway, after a considerably long wait, our lunch arrived, and with `lots of vegetables!` it was not. There was a smear of curry sauce with a clump of rice and what looked like a couple of prawn crackers on the side, the kind of thing you might expect as a school lunch where the fund strapped staff are having a `Thai week` or something. The `ice coffee` was warm, the walls were dirty, the staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere other than serving the customers who`d had the cheek to walk onto their premises, and there wasn`t even decent music on to distract from the feeling of death hanging over the whole place. Must try harder.

Shockingly unfriendly staff with no smile. For lunch, less than 10 dishes but pasta was run out of stock from opening! Never visit again.
