“Great diner”
During our trip, we got a great diner seating at the bar. The team did the outmost to advise us on the menu but also to teach us how to use the grill. As westerner we were overcooking bbq style. We will stop by when we come again to Kyoto.

“Amazing staff”
We dined here on vacation. The pontocho area is really adorable and old-school, especially compared to the bars on Kiyamachi-dori one street over. The staff were very helpful, aiding us when we weren’t sure how long to cook a piece. We tried on of the sets which included a range of Omi beef- includ...ing tripe and tongue, which I’ve tried before but never liked. Both were amazing! We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip.

“Great place”
Great place to dine in Kyoto! Recently moved from across the river. We were recommended to go here from our hotel, Hotel Ethnography. Greeted at the entrance and got situated at the counter next to the chef. We ordered the five kind omi beef, and it was absolutely lovely. Limited English, but chef u...tilised google for what it was worth to answer our evry question or need.

“Amazing experience and delicious food”
Behind this sliding door lies a beautiful yakiniku restaurant. Not knowing what to expect, this dinner experience is one our favourite dinner during our 3 weeks holiday in Japan. Beautiful and amazing customer service. We ordered a banquet for 4 of us. Deliciously and amazing quality of meat! Wai...ter and waitress were fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. The timing of each course is almost perfect. Delicate appetisers and yummy dessert. The beef was so so good. We are one happy family when we left the restaurant.

“Amazing time”
We found this restaurant while walking in Pontocho. The service was absolutely great. The quality of the food was amazing. Even going into details: they had two special sauces very very good. Finaly we had a « crème brûlée » and this was one of the best of our entire life (even though we are French)... crème was very tasty... Well a good adress to recommend to our friends Hugo
