“Hip Japanese Place near Kyoto Station”
I was looking for a change in Japanese restaurant choices while in Kyoto and I saw one great review of this place so I thought I would give it a chance. The review was on point! Great food, quick service or you can hang out. The menu is small but has a good variety of dishes. The sushi was amazin...g and potato salad fantastic. I am going back again to try some more of their small bites.

“Torii-Ebisu（魚里ゐ夷） Seafood and Modern Japanese Tapas with Sake, Sake !”
I was lucky to find out this Izakaya near my hotel, after 9 PM. For Washoku Lover, Kyoto is the ideal culinary place to explore. I enjoyed dishes reflect creativity and individuality of young talented chefs in every Izakaya I dropped-in, as same as here. Obanzai (Kyoto home style Tapas) was tast...y, and the portion size was such bigger than I expected. Fresh Sashimi, Grilled oyster/clam, and Kyo-fu Oden (fishball, vegetables etc. simmerd in broth), were delicious. If you are a foodie you will not be disappointed.
