"Taikoyama Land" opened as a venue for the Japan New Century Exposition held in 1983, and is located in 4774-6 Kurokawa, Imizu, Toyama Prefecture. The official name of the park is Prefectural Park Taikoyama Land. In 1992, it became the venue of Japan Expo Toyama. This facility has a cycling center, a family sports center, a picnic area, a barbecue area, athletic facilities with pools and such, and many more places that can be enjoyed with the whole family. The park is located about 15 minutes by car from JR Kosugi Station, or about 10 minutes by car from the Hokuriku Kosugi IC. The park's observation tower is 60 meters above sea level and has a height of 32 meters.
