My wife and I sat down to eat and decided on this meal to share, it was a great amount of food for 2 people. The tempura was delicious, I wish I could have taken some to go. Photo taken after we dug in.

We went to this restaurant just a while ago. It was 7:25pm according to the time stamp in the pictures I took of the resto’s facade. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 6 yo). As soon as we entered the resto, the chef asked my husband how many we are in our group (my other two kids wer...r still outside and we were wearing masks). My husband looks Japanese, with chinky eyes. But he is Filipino, so he answered in English, “5.” The chef told my husband they are closing already so they cannot accept us. But my husband pressed on, he pointed at the sign that says in Japanese that business hours is until 11:00pm. The chef showed the X sign with his arms that means, NO. So we left. Mind you, there were not so many customers. So there is ample room for the 5 of us. And why asked how many in the first place? We felt really bad being turned down for no apparent reason. We can only think of one thing, we were discriminated. I checked their website and they even have menu in English, so they really can’t say that they are not used to serving foreigners.

“Definatly the best Udon place ever!”
We just wandered around hungry and wanted a decent place to eat, but fortunatly we discovered de best udon place ever^^ The Tempura is really good but the udon was just the best. They are the hardest and most tastiest! Try the chefs favorite, you wont regret it! The price is also not bad and the st...uff is super friendly and helpful! Next time in Japan I will definatly go there again, because just for this place it is already worth it!

“For tourists only”
Went there since my host recommended the place. The menu is all in English with pictures and easy to order. If you never been to Japan and it’s your first time eating tempura you might enjoy the food more. I’ve been living here for over a decade now, so been to many places where the food was cheaper... and tastier. Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t bad - but the price is a bit too much and the taste a bit too bland. The fugu was good though. Read some reviews saying there’s a service of miso soup and rice but I was never told by the staff about this so I didn’t get it. It’s always full of tourists so whenever you see that in Japan you should know not to expect much. Prefer places with more locals, they know where the good and cheap food is.

“We had a great dinner here”
We had a great dinner here on March 12, 2020. My husband and I shared their shrimp tempura and rice of JY3000. Delicious. Nice casual atmosphere and service.
