“Amazing sushi for amazing price!”
This place was amazing. We were able to sit with no wait and immediately got to ordering. So many options here and they offer an English menu! We ordered bluefin tuna meal, tempura meal, and tuna spring rolls. There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like or was unsure about! With drinks our total was a...round $65 USD which is about what we would spend in the states for much lower quality sushi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back, especially at such a good price for us sushi lovers!

Good service. Fresh sushi, prepared in front of you. Staff friendly. Food amazing. Try to go before eight to ensure a table or a seat at the bar. Price is reasonable. I would say one platter per person and some selection to share would be more than enough food to fill you up and leave you satisfied.

“Very good ”
On our recent visit to Tokyo, my girlfriend and I went to Itamae after finding two other restaurants full on a friday evening. I saw online it had good reviews so we decided to give it a go. The place is rather small but very cozy and comfortable, with tables or chairs at the counter where you can a...dmire sushi masters doing their job. We ordered a bunch of different sushi types, and they all tasted delicious. We especially like the rolls, which were fresh and full with goodies. What we did not like much was the mandatory appetizer at the beginning, which was ok but we would have skipped that. Our sushi chef did not seem very happy, but otherwise service was friendly and polite, and we had a good time. Slightly pricier than some other places, but quality seemed very good and this was the best sushi we had in our trip to Japan. Totally recommend if you are in the area

“Couldn’t get enough”
We happened upon this place by accident on the last night of a 2-week trip to Japan (admittedly we were trying to go to Midori sushi just down the block but they were booked up). With the exception of one omakase dinner earlier in the trip, this was the best sushi we had (and it was 1/4 the price of... the omakase). There was a short wait outside here but it was well worth it. Sushi and sashimi was fantastic, especially their tuna. After two tuna boards, we had to get one more. Definitely worth stopping by this small and lively place.
