Neyagawa Restaurant Guide

Neyagawa City, located in the northeast of Osaka Prefecture.It takes about 30 minutes by train from the central area of Osaka, and it serves as a bedroom community where many people live. The city has the second highest population density in Osaka Prefecture, after Suita City.Big-scale business facilities are lined up along Keihan Electric Railway's Neyagawashi Station and Korien Station and the highway.Keihan Electric Railway's Kayashima station, located in Kayashima-honmachi, Neyagawa city, is known for a camphor tree growing between lines 3 and 4 that is estimated to be 700 years old.There is a camphor tree growing through the platform and the ceiling of the staring, and it is a sacred tree of the Kayashima Shrine.It was planned to be cut down during construction in 1972, but many citizens voiced their hopes to preserve it, and so it has remained.Naritasan Fudoson Temple, the first temple in Japan that prays for traffic safety for both cars and pedestrians, is also here.There is a special prayer hall dedicated to traffic safety, where 100 vehicles can be accomodated at once. It has attracted devout worshippers from the citizens of Osaka.
