Temma / Tenjinbashi-suji Restaurant Guide

Tenjinbashi-suji is a road that connects northern and southern Osaka.It starts at the "Nagatsuka-bashi" intersection in the north and continues to the "Tenjin-bashi" intersection in the south.The Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, running to the east of Tenshinbashi-suji, is the longest shopping street in Japan.It measures 2.6 kilometers (1.6 mi) from north to south and has about 600 stores.It has the 1-Chome to 6-Chome postal numbers and each one of them is referred to as "1-Chome shopping district", etc..1-Chome is the southernmost.JR Osaka Tenmangu Station and Osaka Subway Minami Morimachi Station are located near 2-Chome.The Osaka Tenmangu Shrine is nearby as well.Every year in July, the Tenjin Festival is celebrated at the Osaka Tenmagu Shrine.The Tenjin festival is one of the most exciting festivals in all of Osaka and fireworks are launched as well.The longest part of the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street with the most stores is 3-Chome.It was selected as one of the "77 shopping streets that work hard".The arcade on 5-chome which has seen an increase in trendy cafés and and 6-chome have a retro atmosphere with stained glass.
