Sayama Restaurant Guide

Located in the southwest of Saitama Prefecture, the city has the 11th largest population in the prefecture. Large-sized factories have been developed in the city since 1954, a year when the Regulations on the Attracting of Factories was established, and now with Kawagoe Sayama Industrial Complex, the city has one of the largest volume of product shipment in Saitama Prefecture. It is also known as the home of Sayama tea. Sayama is known as its local method of tea production, which precisely focuses on the quality of taste. While Sayama is the northernmost area for tea making but has a large tea farm, its precise tea making method is well known with the results of long-term plant improvement activities. There is a famous saying regarding local tea making, which goes "the best color can be found in Shizuoka while the greatest flavor is made in Uji. But the real deliciousness can only be found in Sayama". Usually, tea farmers in Sayama control from manufacturing to sales, so you can walk around their tea farms to buy tea leaves.
