“Delicious---but not for horse lovers”
If you are an adventurous eater and you can accept that horses are food in some places in the world, do not miss this place. Small and very Japanese with a lot of character. Not only horse flesh here. Many interesting and hard to find local dishes. Everything was delicious!
“horse,horse and horse!”
This was an interesting experience. We ate horse meat, assorted 8 different parts! Spinal cord, the testicles, the esophagus etc! They were good. Home made Miso that came with the horse sashimi was wonderful. Smoked tongue was also good. In this restaurant ,they have many kind of SAKE made in Aizu... Wakamatsu and near here. We should have tried 13 kinds sake set, but we couldn't find it on the menu until after we finished our dinner. That was truly unfortunate. We will try it next time. And a noteworthy fact is Japanese lacquer that ware called {'aizu-nuri'} plates. Appetizers were served in a lacquer bowl. They were beautiful. I think that you should make a reservation. Restaurant staffs are very kind. You can find this restaurant in Koriyama and Tokyo.
