“Decent oysters dinner”
More expensive than other restaurants on the same floor but we'll worth the price. We has the oysters pot (nabe) for 2-3 ppl and it had about 18 oysters in it. The soup was miso based and was very tasty. The oysters rice was also really good. About 3000yen pp (a pot for 2-3ppl, a rice pot, a ser...ve of udon, a beer and 2 raw oysters) which isn't too expensive.

“we had to pay a "caucasian tax"”
No complaints about the food or service, both of which were pretty good. They have an English menu with pictures of all of the food so it was easy to order. While we were waiting for our meal,I Iooked at the Japanese menu which was identical to the English one except for the fact that every dish was ...about 8% more expensive on the English menu. In a country where everyone seems to be so scupulously honest, i was taken aback by this surcharge. On another note, after 2 weeks here, i have noticed that bottled beer seems to be a much better value than draft beer which is typically served in a glass that appears to be about 10-12 oz while a bottle is 500 ml., or almost 17 oz. The price of a bottle seems to offer better value relative to the price differential.

“Oyster specialist in JR Hiroshima”
On level 6 restaurant floor of Asse dept store in JR station. Oysters were served in western style cooking, e.g. with pasta, rissoto, deep fried, baked, oyster chowder, and also in Japanese style e.g. nabe, tempura. This was the only restaurant serving raw oysters in our one week stay in Hiroshima. ...Four varieties of fresh oysters were available on our day of visit. Sashimi, wagyu were also served. Last order 21:30
