“Hey, no way you can find seafood as fresh as Namihei 's in Namibia!”
A hole in the Asse (department store) adjacent to Hiroshima station, next to cheap fried counters. Yet, it serves surprisingly fresh fish, uni, and other seafood. Waiters don't speak much English, but are very helpful.

“A quiet haven at the train station”
We sought a recommendation for sashimi from our reception at hotel new hiroden on new year's eve and was given this recommendation. It was the best sashimi we had over our five days in hiroshima. I had the green tea rice with salmon that paired so well with the sashimi moriwase. It was in the quiet ...corner after an overdose of okonomoyaki shops. My husband and I shared a salad and it had awesome greens. He ordered potato baked with shrimp on a shell which was awesome and tempura the way Japanese does. If you're seeking a quiet dining with great taste, this is the place to go!
