“What a wonderful fugu world”
This is an expensive fugu place even for Japan. But Shimonoseki is the birthplace of Japanese fugu cuisine. If you want to try the real and natural fugu, not the mass factory produced ones, this is the place. They know how to treat you with the best possible fugu courses.

“A fantastic discovery”
We are European and trying Fugu was a must do. We lett them choose for us a Fugu menu. We couldn't eat all even if we are sumo size people The sake to pair with was excellent as well and we prefered the deep fried one. Service was excellent as well by a English speaking waittress in traditional sui...t. Nice experience.

“Close to the station and nice, but ”
Be warned that if like me you never tried fugu before, you might be extremely severely disappointed. The taste was so subtle I almost didn't taste it, and for 25 dollars the plate of fugu, that sure did not go well. I also had some fried whale that tasted great, and the restaurant is in typical Japa...nese fashion, with waitresses in geta and kimono and everything, but this is a very costly place for a fish with almost no taste.
