“NOT family friendly - unwelcoming”
NOT family friendly. We are staying in a hotel around the corner and went to visit at 5pm local time. Plenty tables available but were turned away saying no children allowed! Disgusting especially when everywhere else is friendly. Maybe put a sign up to state no children allowed!!

“Don’t miss this while in Tokyo subway Daimon a9 or e20”
What a fantastic bbq place just around the corner from our hotel. Really enjoyed the bbq assorted platter and the grilled ells are not to be missed and also who knew you could bbq sushi rice it was great

“Delicious food and friendly service”
Delicious food with friendly service. Restaurant has lots of locals eating there ( always a good sign) dishes are small like tapas so order a couple each. Everyone of our dishes was really delicious. Nice casual vibe, we really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely go back. The meal was around... £65 for 4 people including 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine so great value as well.

“Best restaurant we visited in Tokyo!”
This place became our favourite restaurant on our trip! We loved every item we ordered! Their frosty mugs of beer were so awesome! The people were so nice to us we felt like we were at home there!

“A good experience”
Close to our hotel, and despite the sign out front advertising simmered pork guts we decided to try it. We were pointed to the upstairs section, but as there were tables at the bar we wanted to sit there and watch the food being cooked which is all part of the izakaya experience in my opinion. The s...taff were friendly and there was enough English spoken and food to point at that it was pretty easy to order. The food was all good and prices pretty average - we didn't try the pork!
