Place is looking worn. Where we sat people had written all over the walls. We heard a customer asking the owner for her salad dressing separate to her salad. She was told "no" the reason being is that the restaurant want customers to have the taste of the salad and the dressing together. Later s...omeone asked the owner if they had black pepper. Yes they had it in the kitchen but no they would not give it to customers to use! Food was okay and average price. However, would not recommend or return based on attitude and decor.

I always try and eat at El Castellano when I’m in Tokyo . Great food , great value and a great host . If you want to some proper Spanish Food then El Castellano is the place for you .

Best place to enjoy Spanish food. We tried the Jamon Iberico al Romero and Buey al Jerez. We repeat the Buey - was so tasty The owner is very friendly Quite small place but Nice place

Never ever in my life came back to El Castellano The worst experience in all our trip to Tokyo. From the beginningwe saw everything wrong. We have lived in Spain and of course it is not authentic I wiss they did not cheat more people Impolite, very bad service and food

I stumbled across El Castellano about a year ago. I was with two other friends...everyone was a picky eater and thought this might meet everyone's requirements for a meal. Absolutely. Vincente is a brilliant host - everyone is family when you enter into his restaurant. The menu goes on forever ...with anything being customized to your particular needs/wants. Plan to spend a few hours there and drink wonderful wines of Spain. My number one "go to" restaurant whenever I am in the area! I just love this place! And think you'd find this kind of wonderful, authentic, Spanish food in the middle of Tokyo?!?!? Don't miss out!
