Even though the waiting is long during busy hours, if you have a Japan phone number, you can wonder around and you will be called when the table is ready for you. I've been three times, and each time it was totally worth it!

When we arrived (on a Sunday afternoon), the waitress told us that there are so many people in the waiting list that we‘d have to wait for at least 120 minutes. We asked her why we can‘t sit at any of the at least 5 free tables and her answer was that there‘s a waiting list. However, there was noone... around physically waiting in or near the cafe. Maybe once people enter the park, they draw a ticket for the cafe and then they go and queue for the tower and might not even return to the cafe? It doesn‘t seem like a sustainable business model...

While Lon Café boasts being the first French toast specialty café in Japan, plenty of later incarnations beats the original both in terms of the taste and the value. Our party of four adults each ordered a different item from the menu. About 1200 yen gets you a surprisingly small, circular piece... of French toast with your choice of coffee/tea on the side. Via the eye test, it seemed easily under four inches across. Because the toast was paired with ice cream, I felt pressure to finish the toast as fast as possible. With each passing moment, the ice cream would melt into the French toast - making it undesirably soggy. At 1200 yen, I didn't want to feel rushed! There are so many better options in the greater Tokyo area if you are craving French toast. Mercer Brunch in Roppongi and L'atelier Cocco in Mita are just two places I've recently had much better versions than what's offered at Lon Café. I recommend giving Lon Café a miss when visiting Enoshima.

Do you like to eat sweet french toast? Do you like to see beautiful ocean view? If you like to do so, I strongly recommend you one restraut whose name is "Lon Cafe." Lon Cafe stands Enoshima-island in Kanagawa prefecture in Japan. Enoshima is very famous for it's nice ocean view and beautiful romant...ic sunset in Japan. When you go to Lon Cafe, a splendid view unfold befire your eyes. And more. The French toast!! If you go there, you can eat wonderful, fantastic, excellent french toast!!! There are 12 kinds of toast at this restaurant. For example, french toast with sweet potato and freash cream, the taste of Japanese greentea etc...So please try to find your favorite. The taste is really soft like cotton. It melts in your mouth so you must become addicted to this sweet taste at once. A manager of this restrant is really kind for us. He always smiles at us and talks funny stories to visiters. If you go Lon Cafe, you can be relaxed and enjoy eating french toast and see a beautiful ocean. However, Lon cafe stands at the top of the island (it really steep), so if you want to go, please be careful about your lack of exercise! I really wish you to visit Lon cafe. Thank you.
