“Worst experience ever in a restaurant.”
The food is okay. But, there is a time limit. I went to The Cave de Oyster for a birthday meal. I didn’t have time to finish my food or wine. The restaurant was only at 25% capacity. I asked the server for an extension to the limited time of 2 hours. She asked the manager and he refused. This all ...resulted in a very rushed and uncomfortable feeling. A manager that can’t manage his tables and bookings, doesn’t care about the customers. The owners should also be aware that the manager is reducing the potential in terms of the size of bills the customer pays. To say is was the worst restaurant experience ever is an understatement.

“Ultra fresh and Oyster Stout”
Now here is a Japanese Oyster Bar that dies serve Stouts. And not only that. It's an Oyster Stout. That is a proper beer to drink with oysters! These oysters are ultra fresh, beautifully presented and perfectly shucked. Excellent ones such as the Saga oysters, tasteless ones like the Ehime ones (wat...er bombs, like Dutch tomatoes), and milky ones as Kumamoto's. Although this is not the perfect Iwate oyster stout, it is still quite nice. I will go to no other oyster bar that serves only pale lagers.

“Delicious oysters from all over Japan”
This restaurant is located in the underground shopping precinct next to Tokyo Station. We were attracted by the variety of oysters on offer. The day we visited there were oysters from Hokkaido Lake Saroma, Iwate Kamaishi Bay, Miyagi Sizugawa, Mie Mototori, Hyougo Sakoshi, and Ooita Bungosuido Mori...e Bay. All were very good. The first two in particular were excellent, plump and flavourful. They compare extremely well to the South Australian Coffin Bay oysters or the best ones from the west of Scotland. Not cheap, but worth a visit.

“Not good quality oysters”
Unfortunately the oysters we got was not of the best quality. They were tasteless and did not seem to be completely fresh.
