Chiocciol @ Pizzeria

A friend and I wanted to grab a bite in Akiba, and decided for a pizza in UDX building's first floor. I did not have much expectation but was pleasantly surprised: the place is much bigger than originally thought, so there is enough space between each table. We only ordered pizzas, and there were g...reat: large enough, tasty dough, quality ingredients, wow! I will certainly be back and explore the rest of the menu. Thumb up!!

As Italian I was very surprise to discover how much this restaurant is informed and know about Italian traditions. thay have an excellent selection of Italian food, Salami, wonderful wines and pizza is also very well cooked. all the staff is very nice and I find it a very good choice for a pleasant... business luch or a dinner with friends.

Our son had enough of Japanese food - we went to please him, not expecting much and with a rather negative attitude. Well, how wrong were we. For 1000 yen I had a bowl of soup, a salad, the pasta of the day with bread, a tiny piece of cake and coffee - all very good. Couldn’t believe it! Our son’s p...izza also came with a little salad and a glass of orange juice. Pleasant and efficient staff. We all came out stuffed and happy!

We went to the restaurant at 18:30. The restaurant was empty but the waiter told us that everything was reserved and we could only dinner in the balcony. After we asked how many time we would need to wait to get a table and the waiter, ruddely, told us that we could not wait for a table. Everything... was reserved again... We left the restaurant with the sensation that only japanese could dinner in this restaurant... nearly xenofoby....

The pizza was really good. A thin base, and great toppings. Closest to Italian pizza we have had so far in Japan. Recommend if you want something western.
