“Great Nepali food”
A Southeast Asian restaurant chain with several stores in Tokyo. They mainly serve Nepali food along with Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese cuisine for a good price. You can enjoy a selection of SE Asian beer along with Nepali Khukri rum. They also have lunch menu for around 1,000 yen.

“South Asian Style Lunch”
I miss Nam, mutton curry and tandoori chicken, it reminded me my first time had it when I was studying in the UK. And now I had it all in one plate for lunch! So yummy and economical ;) it a bit pity I cannot eat one more nam after drinking larsi! Had a very full meal with colleagues...

“Average”
The Kagurazaka area for it's small streets, equally small shops and countless restaurants. The main street alone has four Indian restaurants, if you add some side streets the number gets much higher. Yet, finding a restaurant that's open on January 1 is a challenge anywhere in Tokyo. So we were deli...ghted to find out that "Asian Dining Bar Sapana" was open on the very first day of 2016. We came here with a party of four the celebrate the new year and to commemorate successes of the past year. We all ordered different dishes (spinach with mushroom curry, dhal curry, rice, nan, a special new years dinner set and tomuyankun), which meant even after one visit we got a pretty good feeling of the menu. And that feeling is: average. Nothing was bad, but nothing was above average either. The only bad thing is that smoking is still allowed here, which kind of ruins dinner for other guests who prefer to smell their food instead of toxic fumes. The portions are generous and like every Indian restaurant Sapana offers a lot of choice to both vegetarians and carnivores. The prices are lower than average and service was okay. Since Sapana was the only restaurant open on January 1, we had a good time. Yet, when given the choice of the many (Indian) restaurants in Kagurazaka, Sapana wouldn't be our first choice.
