What a fantastic meal. Service was friendly and enough English to order. The stuffed chicken wings were brilliant, returned to this order twice. The chicken stuffed capsicum perfect. Noticed the cooking was just right, still juicy and not overdone. Checked out the cooking person, as kitchen in other... section, and there was a very attractive young girl doing the cooking. She was cooking with a big smile on her face, not flustered and so organised. Not the usual high heat, searing, fanning type of bravado you usually see. It confirmed why the taste was better, cooked with more care, and just more finesse. Heartily recommend and would visit in a flash if not living in Aussie.

“not friendly if you don't speak Japanese”
We stopped here for dinner while staying nearby, after coming back from TOkyo on the train. it was about 9pm, and when we tried to enter, one staff said they were closed. we realized that wasn't the case, as they had many people eating, and finally they let us in. several other Japanese clien...ts came later-- with no issue-- so clearly they were open. after that odd start, we were on notice. they had some menus in English, and this place specializes in bbq. the 'kobe beef' was a low quality cut. we had 4-5 skewers of meat and were also served tofu that we were later charged for. the bill was not clear. drinks are very expensive -- 2-3 times the bbq skewers. i don't recommend this place.

“English spoken”
When I asked they told me they accepted credit cards. I ordered 2 beers and 5 yakitori skewers. The one labelled Kobe beef was a joke. Tough and fatty. The rest were fine. The waiter/owner brought me a dish with 2 slices f warm tofu that I did not order. When it came time to pay, the bill did ...not correspond to any price on the menu. He apologized, said it was tax and refunded me the price of the tofu!!. On the way out, he gave me a hand warmer as it was pretty nippy outside. I am not clear on the tax situation and if it is added automatically to the price or included.

“Tasty sampling of Japanese BBQ”
There are so many small restaurants surrounding the Narita train station, but this one stood out as having recognizable but authentic food as well as seating rather than having to sit on the floor. One waitress spoke enough English for us to communicate, and they have a couple of menus in English. ...The seem to specialize in skewered meat, particularly chicken, so we wine with the assortment of skewers including chicken gizzards, hearts, tails (really), meat, and something in the mystery category that was cheese-like consistency, which was probably best not known to us. It was all quite good! We also had fried baby crabs as well as baby squid on a stick, again very enjoyable. Even with beers and 2 kinds of sake as well as some noodle dish, it was only about $30 each. There was also a starter of a large square of tofu, which was more like flan. All in all, it was worth the experience. My colleagues loved the sake sets and even bought a pair of them for $10 each, which I think was unusual for them but handled graciously. The couple next to us chain smoked Lucky Strikes through the meal, but we took it in stride.
