Excellent local food and very charming service. Found this place near hotel and spent a great first dinner in Tokyo with reasonable prices and serving mostly locals.

We just arrived in Japan so we were looking for a place to eat for our first night. This place was very close so we gave it a shot : no disappointment ! All the staff (cooks and waiters) were lovely, you immediately see that they enjoy practicing their english and french. They like to share and expl...ain what you could eat while they cook in front of you. We tried the saya gyoza (so good!), the hiroshima style okonomiyaki (oh my god! perfect!) and the osaka style okonomiyaki (this one wasn't our favorite both because we were already full and i personally don't really like the smoked thuna on the top as every osaka okonomiyaki have). Excellent moment, typical Japanese inside with background music and charming staff. I recommend ! And the price was is okay too.

It was my first time at such a restaurant and i loved it here. The food was decently priced and quite tasty. The experience on the whole here was good.

This place serves fast, affordable (800 yen for lunch), delicious Okinomiyaki (a Japanese omelette like food with eggs, cabbage, bacon, and shrimp). I got the traditional, Osaka style Okonomiyaki, but they also offer Hiroshima style, which has noodles in it.

Saya is the best restaurant I've been to in my entire life. The whole experience was staged perfectly, every dish was wonderful and tasty. It was a delight to watch the cook and interact with staff, they spoke enough English so we could order everything we needed without any problems. I loved this p...lace and highly recommend it to everyone who wants to experience true Japanese cooking in wonderful atmosphere... I'll remember this place forever :)
