“Hawaiian Taste without the Hawaiian Price”
After walking around Mito for an entire afternoon, I was ready for a relaxing dinner, and I was completely satisfied with my experience at Hauoli. Ambiance was great. Service was friendly. And the food exceeded my expectations. The beef in the loco moko was very juicy and the gravy was thick w...ithout being overly salty. The mahi mahi was perfected fried and served with tarter sauce that had a hint of taco seasoning. The hash browns and macaroni salad that came with the mahi mahi were a good compliment in terms of offering a variety of flavors and textures. For dessert, the marasada was stuffed with a light cream and served with a side of vanilla ice cream - neither of which were overly sweet. This is an easy recommendation for me to make for anyone who isn't limiting themselves to Japanese food when visiting Mito.
