“Live squid sashimi, fried stuff, grill fish!”
Live squid sashimi, and fried stuff. Make sure you go at least 1 hr before closing time! They start food last call around 9:30 and drink last call around 10. They don’t have English menu, so show them the photos or ask recommendation! Very nice place for dinner with drinking beer.

“Nihonbashi Ika (Squid) Center”
As its name sake, prepared live squid is the main draw. Kept in a live well, type of squid being served is dependent on catch of the day. Can't get any fresher than that! We've also ordered assorted sashimi plate, pacific saury sashimi, broiled sazae (clam), broiled pacific saury, vegy dish, bottle ...of sochu, etc. Quality and freshness of seafood was top notch. I don't think they have English menu so if you don't speak Japanese it may be a problem. If you are adventurous and want to go where locals go give it a try. Reservation is a must. The only complaint I have is cigarette smoke wafting in the air since it is still acceptable to smoke in a restaurant.

“Fresh fish in the restaurant the local business folks use”
This is an upscale fish restaurant in a building close the Mandarin Hotel and Mitsukoshi. It is large and well appointed. It is built around an open kitchen which is fun to watch. We went there with our ten year old grandson for dinner. We were the only obvious tourists. We loved it.
