“For Locals”
I went here with a couple of friends who are locals from this area. Don't expect too much if you're a foreigner. I suggest skipping this place if you only have a limited time in Japan. This is your standard izakaya where you have some drinks and some decent/average food while having a good conversat...ion with some friends and co-workers. It's very near Tamachi station so prices might be steep compared to other well-hidden places. Customers are predominantly locals. Smoking is allowed in this establishment as well.

“Char-grilled pork is their specialty!”
Came here twice and I've always get the char-grilled pork strips with a side of yuzu-kosho sauce. The pork strips are tender and has a nice smokey charred flavor to it. The potato salad with uni sauce and soft boiled egg isn't bad either. I had the gyoza too which were pretty average but juicy nonet...heless, and if you're a fan of pickled ginger ("shoga") then order the ginger tempura. This is an izakaya so they serve various small dishes instead of appetizers and a main dish. Smoking and non-smoking seating available. No English menus available nor do the staff speak any English, but there are illustrations of food on the menu so you can get an idea what the dishes looks like.

“Blackened Fried Pork Set was good”
Blackened fried pork with steam rice and miso soup for 900 yen in Sunday night was good for the price.

“not bad, not special”
In weekdays it's so crowded. No seat for us at 19:00! Many office buildings around here, and many men wearing ties are drinking every night. Friendly staff, cheap beer, and some nice foods - but I don't think they have something special. Just like a casual restaurant.
