Excellent sushi! Quality of ingredients was so good/fresh, service was exceptional, and we felt so welcomed. We had omakase sushi and we left the restaurant with big smile, so happy!

外国からのお客様と来店。鮨コースで12000円でしたが内容も良いですし、店内の装飾も日本らしく、ご満悦でした。 特に板前さんが目の前で握ってくれるカウンターはかなり印象的だったようで、ワォーの連続でした！ There are a lot of restaurant in Ginza Area. But the restaurant where can provide good Sushi course and atmosphere is quite few. This restaurant is one of them. Food is really nice. They provide ...“Edomae Sushi”. It’s not same as normal Sushi.its very special and you can only eat it in Tokyo area. Atmosphere is also nice. You can feel Japanese Culture.

We had dinner there during our stay in Tokyo. We booked in advance to be sure to have a table, and also because the restaurant is closing quite early (around 10pm). So if you call them and ask to reserve from 8pm or later, as cooking can take some time, they will ask you to choose your menu before c...oming. We went there at 7:30 so it was not a problem. We had the 9 courses meal, and it was just fantastic, quality, presentation and taste were amazing. The price was, in my opinion, clearly reasonnable for the quality we had. I have just returned from Sushimasa and hasten to give my impressions. The initial impression was excellent. Fantastic hinoki counter, the quality fish on display, welcoming service personnel. A feeling that this was a great choice of restaurant. As the itamae-san arrived, the impression turned quic...kly sour and to curtailing the meal. I have been to Japan 150+ times in my life, can speaking normally enough Japanese to get by and can read restaurant menus in kanji very we’ll. The menus are only in kanji. As soon as other guests arrived, I had the impression of being totally forgotten/ignored. To the point of feeling that gaijin are not welcome. I have never experienced this before in Japan in any type of restaurant. I stood up and paid what I owed (¥18k) and walked out before the meal was finished. A rare disaster in the country I so love and known.

We randomly pick this restaurant and enter. It was around 20:50 pm. They showed us dinner menu and told us they can not prepare full menu (full menu prices was 9000 Yen per person and there were 8 items in set menu(hors d'ouvre,,clear soup, raw fish, 9 pcs sushi, miso soup, dessert). We said we want... only sushi not set menu. We were 4 people and we ordered 4 sushi 9 pcs and 3 miso soup, 3 beer and one cola. Atmosphere adn sushi was good. When we requested check we noticed that they charged us 9000 Yen( full set menu) per person. We said we had only two items in this menu and they can not charge us full menu price which we did not have. They insist us we should pay this very expensive bill or they call police. We said we will not pay for the items we do not eat. They told us they prepared exclusive sushi for us which we did not ask. In summary, police came, we explained situation, they tried to decrease pricea but they could not. Just go away if you do not pay 7000( their last price after our objection) for 9 pcs sushi and one miso soup.Plus drinks plus %10 service,%8 tax.
