“Top notch beef”
Tucked in a small alley near Hamamatsucho station, this yakiniku joint is a gem. The staff barely speaks english but we fared well enough. There's an english menu available so the old point and order routine worked perfectly. They have korean side dishes/appetizers, different beef cuts, tongue, a...nd drinks. We ordered a mix plate of 4-5 different cuts. They are served with 3 different dipping sauces but honestly the meat is fine by itself. We also got a bowl of garlic rice. It was SUPER. Servers are attentive. Payment is at the table instead of heading to the cashier yourself like most japanese restaurants. overall a wonderful meal.

“Grill and tatami”
Nikuman was recommended by our hotel and the dinner turned out to be one of the most enjoyable we had in Tokyo. Service is friendly. The staff managed passable English. The menu was in English. We had the meat platters (one M and one L) for a party of 4. The staff changed the grill whenever it got c...harred from use. Additionally, we ordered veggie and a spring onion pancake (delicious). With drinks, the bill was about 20,000 yen - a bargain for the delicious cuts and excellent service.
